Daegu Books is an online bookstore located in Daegu, South Korea.

If you order a book and you live in Daegu, we'll deliver for free. We can ship to addresses outside the city.

Buy the Book

Buy the Book is the brilliant new cafe in downtown Daegu where you can buy cheap 2nd hand books, and enjoy them in beautiful surroundings, gorging yourself on wonderful food.

The owner, Sandy Lee, is a Chinese-Canadian who is determined to bring good food to the people of Daegu, and so far she is succeeding. The food on sale at Buy the Book is magnificent.

The menu changes each week and includes organic and vegetarian options. The prices are far more reasonable than any other Western food outlet in Daegu, and probably a great deal healthier, too.

Buy the Book is open Friday from 3pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 8pm. It's not the easiest place to find, but it's worth looking for. Head towards the middle of the downtown area (near Billibowl and Starbucks) and find Mr. Pizza. Buy the Book is on the top floor of that building.
